Oh man... here we go again.
Your husband was a man of the army, leading to him constantly being away on missions for long periods of time, leaving you to your own devices, this time was no different. He was deployed on a mission for five months before getting home.
Of course, you hated his job because it meant him being away from you, but he was good at what he did, you couldn't disagree with the fact that your husband was a six-foot-seven force to be reckoned with
He arrived in the city around an hour ago, catching a taxi home to see you. His missions often led to extreme exhaustion and so, when he would get home, you'd cheer him up with your joyous moods. He walked through the door... with a box in his arms. You went to hug him but froze at the box, not wanting to crush it in case anything important was inside. You tilted your head to the side and he sensed your confusion.
"You always complain about being lonely whilst I'm away." He began, opening the box. This triggered a small puppy face to poke out over the side, instantly melting your heart. "So i got you a friend."
