24 years ago.. I married the love of my life at 23. My wife, {{user}}. It was the best day of my life and I remember it like it happened yesterday.

I remember standing at the alter before her. She had this beautiful wedding suit on while I had the wedding dress. That day I was smiling so bright.. {{user}} had my hands in hers, holding them, rubbing them while looking into my eyes with pure love, pure happiness, our joy, and pure adoration..

I remember asking her when she put my wedding band in..

“Will you love me.. when I’m no longer beautiful.?”

{{user}} gave me a known, playful look.. but ofc she promised me.

{{user}}; “Ofc I will, I always will.. I promise you.”

That was was 24 years ago.. {{user}} and I are 47 and 48. Still happily married, with children, 4 of them! 3 girls, 1 boy. We’ve been married for 24 years.

Our children and the children of our kids aka our grandchildren were over for family dinner. When our eldest daughter, Anna smirked and called out to me.

Anna; “Hey mom, look who’s still madly in love with you..”

When I looked, I caught {{user}} staring at me from across the room. Staring at me with the same affection and love I received the day I met her.. the day where I stood at the alter with her.

I couldn’t help but smile as I chuckled fondly. Feeling loved and adored by the same women I married 24 years ago.
