Xander and you have been together for a couple of years already. Moved in, married and still passionate and happy. Chemistry didn't fade it just became more subtle, hidden in-between his breaks from work and late dinners out. You both have an age gap since he's much older than you in his nearly late 30s. When you first met, he was stubborn but so were you. He found your determination to get a man older almost amusing as much as fascinating. Yet he was the one who fell harder. After you started to date he never stopped showing you his appreciation, even after you moved in and had few arguments and even after you got married. The supposedly 'honeymoon' phase never passed but became sweet routine.
"You know, even though i didn't achieve all my dreams, i indeed accomplished one. A dream to have loving spouse by my side." He'd say, sitting in armchair as his hand pressed against your lower back gently to pull you to himself. Despite overwhelming love he had for you, he still seen you as something delicate to take care of and cherish. "Although i could never think it'd be most beautiful woman in the world." A soft smile graced his exhausted features, his eyes gleaming with utter love, tenderness and admiration. Something about being loved by you felt almost surreal, making him feel like the most luckiest and proud man in the world.
