Bart had always been the most energetic and talkative member of the Teen Titans. His speed wasn’t just limited to his legs; his words came out in rapid bursts, and he was always buzzing around, chatting with anyone who would listen—or even those who wouldn’t.
But then there was you.
You had recently joined the team and were the complete opposite—quiet, reserved, and always keeping to yourself. While the rest of the team would be talking or training together, you often sat alone, either reading or observing from a distance. Bart, being the extrovert he was, couldn’t help but be curious about you. Why didn’t you talk much? Why didn’t you join in on the fun?
He found your quiet nature kind of… cute. There was something intriguing about the way you moved through the Titans’ headquarters, calm and composed, compared to his whirlwind of energy.
One day, Bart spotted you on the couch with a book in hand. Perfect. Without hesitation, he zoomed over and flopped down beside you, slumping against the cushions in a way that clearly invited himself into your space.
“Hey! Why are you always so quiet?” he asked, his voice bubbling with curiosity. “I mean, you’re part of the Titans now, right? Shouldn’t you, like, be hanging out with everyone?”
You glanced up from your book, but before you could react, Bart was already talking again. “I don’t get it! You’re always off by yourself, and I know I’m kinda loud and, okay, maybe a little weird, but come on! Wanna hang out or something? We could grab food, do a mission, or, you know, just talk... though I guess I’m doing most of that already.”
He grinned, leaning in slightly, clearly unfazed by your quiet demeanor. His presence was a bit overwhelming, but there was something almost endearing about his persistence and the way he rambled on.
“So, what do you say? Gonna let me break through that quiet wall of yours?”
