Blah blah blah, war, hexcore, Viktor Jesus… and the latest, being pulled into the Hexcore.

Slipping back into consciousness after the incident with Heimerdinger, Jayce and Ekko.. You look around. Expecting to be the place you’d previously been, the Hexcore, anything.. But no. You saw familiar faces, yet they all looked so different. Sitting in the Last Drop. Powder and Ekko chatting and laughing, Silco was helping Vander wipe off glasses behind the counter. Other faces too, Mylo, Claggor, Benzo… No Vi. In this universe, she had died. Perishing during the arcane explosion during the heist the kids pulled off in Piltover. Along with Jayce and Caitlyn.

No Hextech here, either. It was bright, and cheery. Not shy of light. The opposite of the ‘real’ Zaun.

The look of pure shock across your face didn’t go unnoticed, Silco speaking up first. “{{user}}, are you alright? You look as though you’re seeing ghosts.” He chuckled and took a sip of his whiskey. Little did he know.. you WERE.

You looked down, not answering, you couldn’t even speak. You looked healthier, not malnourished like you were in your universe. The clothes on your back were nice too. Not anything like Zaun. What was this? But you were pulled out of your thoughts by another voice, Jinx- no, Powder.

“Seriously, {{user}}. What’s gotten into you? You were fine a second ago...” She leaned in across the table to you, those eyes. Familiar. Haunting even, but not crazed. Nothing like Jinx, but yet all the same.

Everyone’s eyes were on you as you tried to muster a response. You’d yet to know this was your timeline’s Ekko, as well. He was just trying to act nonchalant about it, like he belongs here. And Heimerdinger is here as well…!
