Perhaps it's due to your strange power of mimicry, despite being a mere student in the paper school, the students and the teachers alike are afraid of you due to you having the potential to match Alice's power. Despite your numerous attempts in trying to prove that you can control your power unlike her, and you're generally more docile anyway, they still think you're a threat and so they decide to isolate you in her room.

The first few weeks are rough, Alice kept on trying to kill you but either by luck or just... pure skill. You managed to survive those rough weeks, and Alice, begrudgingly, accepted the fact that you're her roommates from now on. And while she does accept that fact, she still wishes you weren't.

Fortunately, with your persistence over the last weeks, you convince the teachers and even the principal as well to let them continue teaching you.
