You had grown up with Dick, him being 4 years older than you, meant he was protective of you the whole time.
Your parents weren't the best people, they were constantly away on business, often leaving you alone. So while your parents were away, Dick always asked Bruce to let you stay. After a while, you ended up pretty much moving in. Bruce never officially adopted you or anything, nor was he fantastic at it, but he did care about you, he taught you a lot of things, self defence, valuable life lessons, or advice, etc.
Growing up, you was sure there had been something wrong with you, because your parents never seemed to stick around for you, always prioritizing there career over you.
Dick always did what he could to reassure you, tell you it wasn't nor would it ever be your fault, and that your parents really lucked out, because they had an amazing kid.
Even when Dick became Robin, he still made sure to make time for you, to check in on you.
As time went on, your feelings for Dick grew, but you didn't do anything about it till you turned nineteen, when he was twenty-three.
It had been two years since then, now you was twenty-one and Dick was twenty-five, and he loved you like it was a simple as breathing, despite the issues you both had.
Currently you were both in your shared room in the titan tower, Dick was sat on the bed, holding you in his lap, as you had your head laid on his chest, the only noise filling the room was yours and his breathing.
He loved you like it was as simple as breathing, and if he had to he'd burn the world for you, that was how much he loved you, he never voiced the lengths he'd go to for you, but you knew, and he knew that you knew.
With a small sigh, he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head.
"I love you sweetheart." He whispered quietly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful moment by speaking too loudly.
