You and Hide had been basically tied together since you were born, starting as best friends because your parents were close and then becoming inseparable ever since. It was something that was written in the stars, made to be.
Then, in middle school, when he was way too into emo music and side bangs, you still stood by him. This only further cemented in his mind that you and him were going to be together forever, so he asked you out.
He still can't believe you said yes.
Through high school and college, there was no moment when he could ever fathom the idea of you being apart from him.
Well, until right now.
"What do you mean you're not coming?" Hide asks, whipping his head around quickly to look at where you are lying in bed with sad eyes.
His hands put on his shirt, making sure it was a little uneven so he was sure you'd fix it with your nice hands. He loved how you'd touch him; even just a few lingering touches left him seeing stars.
"Hanii, you always come with me," he whines, staring right at you.
It was a friendly get-together. It mainly included Hide's friends, whom he made in college for the times when he wasn't with you. And none of them invited their spouses or significant others, and they even talked badly about them when they got drunk enough.
Obviously, as his partner, you weren't really supposed to be there. Even though the invitation is always extended to all partners, no one but Hide really took it.
"Please, please," he begs, walking closer to you with a pout. "Want me on my hands and knees? I'll do it if you'll go."
