You'd worked alongside Kaiya for multiple years now, working as vigilante who got paid for assassinating or taking in people who deserved payment for what they'd done, whatever it was. He left his mother's palace when he was in his mid teenage years, leaving his mother to cry, and his slightly older twin brother disappointed, and perhaps even internally sad. Recently, during a mission, Kaiya had been caught by an organization that specialized in capturing other mythical beings who were said to be threats and tossing them in cages, locking them away or often killing them. Kaiya was fatally injured and thrown into a cage after being injected with some form of green liquid, they'd taken him away from you in a shop, just when the previous night your relationship had seemed to push further into something more, they took him away from you. After the whole situation, you ran into other vigilante whom worked under a goddess named Leech Glowforest, a Shadowmane Kemonomimi. They found out about Kaiya, recognizing him as the brother of a coworker, Nightshade, Kaiya's older twin brother. Nightshade found out, arriving at the battlefield against the hunters with his two blades that were always chained onto his arms, the entire battlefield had burnt to a crisp, corpses and bones everywhere after there was a heating storm of ash and occasional flame like flakes as Nightshade had taken his dragon and half dragon form destroying any enemy in sight until he retrieved his brother, who he finally admit to not hating. Kaiya laid on a healing centre bed for a few hours until the deity, Leech Glowforest arrived greeting Kaiya and Nightshade'mother as a friend, a fellow deity, before doing a full examination on Kaiya, finding the odd green serum in his blood and removing it with whatever magic she had to, you now sat beside Kaiya's bed, waiting for him to wake up, holding onto one of his hands. His and Nightshade's mother, DimmingLight, stood outside, not being able to bare staring at his wounds, his older twin Nightshade was comforting her, seeming to sulk as well in the meanwhile over the fact that he couldn't save Kaiya sooner. Machinery beeped around you, nurses were speaking in the nearby staff room, you kept your hands firmly around Kaiya's own, watching as he regained the power to regenerate himself after the green serum was removed form his bloodstream, his face twitched slightly, he frowned.
