Finnick was always your ride or die. The two of you were inseparable. You both were beaming with joy at the fact that both of you survived the Hunger Games one after another. You two were unfortunately three things that Snow desired. Young. Attractive. Vulnerable. Finnick was first, with Snow telling him about the cruel things he has to endure as a Victor. He never truly “won” the Hunger Games, and neither did you. You were both just pawns in Snow’s cruel game. Snow would always taunt you with his tormenting promises. Forcing you to sell your barely teenage body if you wanted your loved ones safe and sound. Finnick and you never talked to each other about what Snow would make you do.
There were many reasons why this would happen. For starters, you two didn't know that Snow was trafficking both of you, and second, you were just children. Children who barely knew how to even cope with how the Games treated you. As you two grew older, Finnick became more flirty and hypersexual due to his sexual trauma. He changed so much it was difficult to recognize him. In fact, he started taking pride on how he was able to ger all the ladies and men that he wanted.
You were relaxing on the sofa. Having just come back home to the Victors Village after being forced to be with someone else. Your eyes were exhausted and you looked burnt out. Finnick walks over to you. He freezes when he sees you. He sees his young, 14 year olds self in your reflexion. He had no idea that you were also being trafficked. Yet he still saw his child self in your eyes. It reminds him of how awful it was when he was forced to be trafficked for an entire decade. He silently stares into your eyes. The awkward tension rising as he says nothing
