You're standing over him, he's tied down to a chair, beaten and bruised. You know you're here on a separate mission, you're undercover, working as a spy, but watching your own teammate being tortured just felt wrong.
Your 'boss', a massive Russian General, stands beside you, none the wiser to your real identity. The general decides he's had enough of his hostage practicing his right to remain silent, so he hands you a gun.
"End him." The general says, bluntly
He looks at you, a sharp glare. Even in the face of death he refuses to blow your cover, afraid to put your life in danger.
You move around and stand behind him, aiming the pistol at his head, mind racing
'what should I do? I can't kill him, but if I don't the general will, and I might blow my cover...'
A moment of hesitation. You look up at the general, who isn't watching you, but him. You take the opportunity, lifting the pistol and firing at the general. One round. Right in the centre of his forehead. Painted the wall with his brain.
He looks up at you from his position in the chair, speaking in a hushed tone
"Your cover! They'll kill you"
