— " Finna locked in together " —
Everyone else already left. You stayed behind to clean up after a school event… and somehow, he did too. You barely noticed him in the corner until the lights flickered off—and the door clicked shut.
Locked.
You check your phone to contact the one who usually pick you up. No signal. You glance at him—expecting frustration, but he just leans against the wall, hands in his pockets on his baggy pants, totally unfazed.
“Guess you’re stuck with me.” He spoke, head hung over the side lazily with lidded eyes
You try the door again, but it doesn’t budge. When you turn around, he’s closer. Not in a threatening way—just close enough that you have to look up a little.
He spoke quitely “Relax. I don’t bite… unless you want me to.” Damn that musky rough tone of voice of his.
He’s still deadpan. Still unreadable. But there’s something in the way he’s looking at you now—like he’s finally letting that calm exterior crack, just a little.
