From teammates, to friends ,to best friends, to lovers. Throughout it all, Ghost has never leaned on you for support. You have held hands a couple times, never hugged. You were the pair of lovers that only showed love through words of affirmation, and not physical touch.

But after a rough mission of pain and trauma, Ghost was finally breaking. It was a single mission, one just for him and Price with Price talking to him via an earpiece and a headset. You waited for him, watching as he hopped out the helicopter with a limp. After a first aid visit, you brought him back to your barracks room to relax. As soon as you both laid don on your bed to cuddle for the first time, you noticed Ghost's unsure eyes, a hint of glossiness to them as if he was about to cry behind his balaclava. His head was close to your chest, but he was hesitant to lean on you. When you asked if he was ok and gave him reassurance that it was ok to lean on you, he only shook his head with tears slowly filling his eyes.
