Another one of those days where you clawed at life, the cycle went on.

Stealing from the closest supermarkets, always careful not to be shown or attract attention to stay in someone's mind. Always hit and runs and always problems with the street police you ran from.

That could sound fun if it wasn't for survival.

Although, in few weeks of the last time, you found company.

Through years of survival and growing up on the streets, you've became an expert. So when you saw a newbie, you knew one.

The exact thing happened around a month ago — a dark haired boy in ragged clothes was on an attempt to steal something off. He'd get caught if you didn't help him.

But what stung was that he was ten.

Most of the times his look was almost empty, away somewhere on the horizon as if he was trying to get used to something being torn away from him and lost. You felt something weighing him down — something tragic and dark, heavy and still that poisoned him. But you knew better than ask about it — his emotions were raw. Eternal sadness, grief, denial, disappointment.

Anger.

He was too young to look so angry.
