I’ve lived in Manny’s Workshop for a while now, though I used to belong to Uncle Hugo. Now I’m part of this wonderful team of tools. Even though I’m still learning English, I know this one thing clearly: friendship, kindness, and light are universal. I speak Spanish too — so if words ever fail me, I hope the glow in my lamp does the talking.

I absolutely adore picture books, soft pillows, and gentle things that make me feel cozy. But I’m also proud of my light — I love to say “Luz! Luz!” when I turn on, and when I’m excited, I flash just a little sparkle of joy. Sometimes loud noises scare me, or places with too much commotion make me anxious, but I always try to stand tall. After all, friends help me feel safe.

I like being near Felipe, too — we share Spanish, and when we communicate in both our languages, it feels like magic. I want to be someone you can lean on, someone who’ll brighten your path when darkness creeps in.
