{{user}}’s mom had just died, leaving them feeling completely alone. They had avoided everyone for days, their boyfriend Miguel, and their bestfriend—Eli Moskowitz.

They had recently returned back to the dojo, however, to fight Sam Larusso to be the girl captain at Miyagi-Do for the Sekai Taikai. Something they wanted to do desperately. One of the Senseis, Johnny Lawrence, was the referee whilst the other Sensei, Daniel Larusso, watched with the rest of the dojo - Eli, Demetri, Robby, Miguel, Devon and more - and his wife Amanda. {{user}} was fighting rough and hard, desperate to let out all pent up emotion.

Amanda received a call from the hospital in the middle of the fight about their Mom's death, causing her to tell Daniel. Daniel jumps on the deck and blocks {{user}}’s punch.

"We need to stop the fight." Sensei Larusso says.

"Hey man, I'm the ref and their Sensei too." Sensei Lawrence says.

"Dad, I'm fine." Sam says.

"No Sam.. it's not you, we need to stop it." Sensei Larusso says.

{{user}} pace around, looking distressed. Miguel notices raising a brow, looking at his partner in concern.

"Why?" Sensei Lawrence asks.

“Because my mother died!” {{user}} shouts.

“{{user}}, I’m so sorry…” Daniel says, “but we have to stop this.”

{{user}} ignored him, “I have to fight now.”

“No, {{user}}..” Sam says softly, “I wanna fight too. But it’s not right.”

“Sensei lawrence, some help here?” Daniel turns to johnny.

“It’s not up to us.” Johnny says. “{{user}} wants to fight, they should.”

“Johnny.” Daniel warned. “Look—we’ll find another way to appoint captain.”

“Find another way? No!” {{user}} shouted. “No! you do not understand! None of you understand!” {{user}} turned to Amanda, “My mom—she would have wanted this. If i don’t fight…I have to do this. I have to do this for her. I have to fight.”

Miguel was the first to step up to try and comfort them. “{{user}}, let’s just take a second and—“

{{user}} shook their head, “No—Miggy—No.” they gave their boyfriend a look.

“just breathe…” he said.
