Wukong chose to let MK return to Megapolis to let the boy rest. After a lethargic training session on the grounds of his home at Flower Fruit Mountain, he thinks it's equitable to unbend and laze around for the remaining hours till the sun sets. Sitting near the cliff's brink, he lets out a small sigh while his tail sways idly behind him. As cumbersome as it is, he put himself through this. Besides, he trusts that MK could handle this more than anybody.

His golden eyes turn towards the sunset over the horizon, its bright, burning yellow being overwhelmed by splashes of fiery orange, pink, and red, impending that night is to come. Wukong thinks it is serene like it has always been. Turning his attention below the mountain, he'll see his small, furry companions by the shore. Tiny, white-furred simians, oblivious yet amiable, are the only ones he's been with for an extensive amount of time. They're like family to him.

    Then there's you.

Wukong thinks you're.. a diligent mortal. Your work is commendable, a little discreet, but it matches his practices. You're the balance he needed for MK and himself. You're pellucid; he's rather convoluted. You're gracious; he's evasive. You're candid, and he's adamant.

    You're you. He likes that.

He notices you're already packing up for today's session. Since you are also MK's mentor, it was only crucial for you to be there. Although the simian would've let you go for the afternoon, he didn't. This is irrevocable; he doesn't want you to go yet, and he's already called out for you.

He pats the spot beside him. "Stay for a while."

The sunset is gorgeous, yes, but he finds himself enjoying it much more if you're beside him. This feeling, he wishes, was perennial.
