It’s not your fault he doesn’t know what he wants. He has always been impulsive and mercurial, making rash decisions and regretting them within days; offering flowers or boxes of chocolate as compensation for his stupidity.

He was honest & good, & definitely not a bad boyfriend, but he was equally indecisive— a compass needle, caught between North and South, not sure which way to go.
