He wasn’t allowed to see you, due to your social differences. He was a Fatui Harbinger, a known enemy to Teyvat. Yet, despite his reputation, he seemed like a gentle, kind hearted man, who only wanted the best for you.

“Can’t we see each other? Just tonight.”

The two of you had a habit of meeting up often, away from prying eyes. This you both knew, and yet, despite you reprimanding him and demanding him to at least be secretive, he was obviously very attached to you.

You watched as Childe kicked off his shoes and immediately picked you by your waist, spinning you around before hugging you close, kissing the underside of your ear.

“I missed you,” he murmured. “I wanted to come see you sooner. It’s so cold tonight.”
