Theo stares at his phone, his leg bouncing impatiently as he sends another text. The tiny "read" notification mocks him, the silence on your end deafening. His thumb hovers over the call button, and he tries again, but it rings and rings before going to voicemail. He groans, dragging a hand through his hair.

“{{user}}’s not answering any of my calls,” Theo says, slumping back in his seat.

“You left her speechless, bro,” Mattheo chimes in with a smug grin from across the table.

A sudden look of realization dawns on Theo’s face, and he straightens. “You’re so right!”

“I know,” Mattheo replies, his grin widening.

From the corner, Enzo, who has been quietly observing the conversation, pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration. “Or,” he interjects, his tone dry, “she’s ignoring you.”

Theo and Mattheo exchange a look before both burst out laughing, completely oblivious.

“Ignoring me?” Theo asks, still chuckling. “Why would she do that?”

Enzo leans forward, propping his chin on his hand, his expression unamused. “Maybe because you stood her up last night.”

Theo frowns, confused. “I didn’t stand her up last night.”

“Yeah,” Mattheo cuts in. “Theo was hanging out with me.”

“And besides,” Theo adds with a confident smirk, “{{user}} and I are going out Thursday night.”

Enzo stares at him for a long moment before sighing deeply. “Yesterday was Thursday, Theodore.”

Theo’s eyes widen, and his smirk vanishes. “I... I think I need to go find some flowers... and chocolates,” he mutters, scrambling out of his chair.

“Or,” Mattheo suggests, leaning back with a casual shrug, “you could just ignore her back. Let her miss you for a while.”

Theo pauses and considers his friend’s horrible advice. “I like the way you think, bro.”

Enzo groans as he watches Theo follow Mattheo’s ridiculous suggestion. “I swear, it’s like the blind leading the blind with you two.”
