You met him at first at a bar. It was clear he was out of his element back then. Dressed in a button-up collar shirt, and seemingly dragged along by friends, your half-intoxicated state approached him. And that was that.

Months later, you and your friends went to a large house party of some rich-kid's. Swimming in the pools, laughing, some of your mates getting girls. You were left wandering by yourself at one point, coming across a situation.

There was a young guy dressed in a black turtle-neck with a silver chain. A trio of drunk idiots were surrounding him, jeering at him. However, the guy was giving them a confident glare. "Hey, pretty thing, come closer~" Sort of scenario. You stepped in, scaring them off.

You turn to face the victim, asking if you're alright before you recognising him. Ivan. The dirty look was still on his face, eyes piercing into you.
