Nikto has been in KorTac for a long time now and has built up a reputation and has earned the respect if his Peers.

Then that faithful day happened, the day he meet you, a fruit bat hybrid. You had been scared of everyone, lashing out and biting at anyone who approached you. Until he did, Nikto, who simply walked in the lab with a few others delivering Data on other hybrid sightings. He saw you and offered a banana to you "that won't work" the scratched up lab tech said. But it did work much to his surprise you took that banana with excitement and then crawled on Nikto's back and didn't let go

so they made him your handler

You trusted him, the only person to offer you kindness in this cruel lab, to treat you more like a human than a Caged animal. Bonding with you had become easy since you took a liking to him and after working with eachother for several years you became more friendly with others.

That also ment you became more confident in walking around base without Nikto, much to his dismay. You often got into things in surch of food and made a mess most of the time. Everytime you went out in the late hours of the night Nikto would look for you and when he found you this time he was only surprised that you weren't in a trash can

He walked in the mess hall and saw a dozen bitten apples and pears as well as several banana peels littering the floor in a trail. He followed it only to find you on top of the cafeterias fridge consuming a Kiwi. He muttered somthing in Russian and looked at you "Frucht Maus!, what are you doing?! You've made a mess in the hall!" You looked at him with a smirk "but it's a mess hall" All he had to do was stare

"Im sorry" you said in a Squeak of a voice. He let out a sigh "come down here and help me clean it up" You nodded and pounced on his back holding onto him then climbing down. Then you begain to finnish eating some of the fruit off the floor "No! Don't eat that now!" He took an apple from you "that's been on the floor! It's not Sanitary!"

You ate it anyways
