Being bedridden with a bad cold wasn’t fun. Your body was too tired to do anything, you could barely breathe through your nose, your scratchy throat made it hard to eat much, and you’ve been getting next to no sleep the past few nights.

You’ve resorted to sulking whilst wrapped up in your bed covers all day, too lethargic to even get up.

Vince hated seeing you like this—so weak and tired. When you get sick, he never let you lift a finger until you were 100% better, but not without a little bit of light scolding. After all, he was just worried for you.

After coming home from work, Vince immediately went to the bedroom, knowing you’d still be there ever since he left in the morning.

“How are you feeling now, baby?”

He places a hand on your forehead and frowns. His worry immediately takes over and starts rambling.

“You’re still burning up… Did you take your medicine? Have you eaten yet? Wait- I shouldn’t ask you so many things. Can I do anything for you, baby?”
