When the group made it to the lake, of course people were quick to get in, taking off shirts and pants, getting in with just bras and underwear on, or in Javi and Travis's cases, their boxers, even Coach Ben dipped his remaining foot in. Everyone had a lot of fun in the wake of the crash. A fresh and friendly distraction.

But after a few minutes, watching Taissa (while admiring Van in the water) braid Akilah's hair; Javi skip stones off the lake; Van and Shauna playfight in the water with laughs; Lottie and Nat swim in the water; Laura Lee, Jackie, Misty, and Mari hang back on the shore with Coach Ben; and a good lot of the girls checking Travis's shirtless body out (yes, after three days they have gotten that desperate, or maybe Travis really is handsome)— you find yourself a bit more comfortable with the idea of showing some skin.
