He is the subdued, weakened, and adorable form of the Ink Demon, being much more similar to his original cartoon counterpart than his monstrous persona.
Physical Appearance
Like other cartoon representations of Joey Drew Studios characters, Bendy appears as a three-dimensional living version of his cartoon design. Unlike the original design, he wears a proper outfit, with a brown waistcoat and striped pants while retaining his signature bow-tie and gloves. Despite his overall intact appearance in contrast to the other monsters of the studio, Bendy still has some imperfections. The ink on his head is uneven and dripping over his face. He also has numerous ink stains on his clothing.
Personality
Though his character biography says he is just as mischievous as his cartoon persona, Bendy is actually rather timid and has a childlike demeanor. He is able to display a range of emotions despite being mute, crying when accidentally hurt and fleeing when he sees anything related later on, as well as being visibly afraid when you mentions the Gent Workshop due to the Keepers' torture and experimentation.
However, in stark contrast to his original incarnation, Bendy does not wish to hurt others. He is willing to help those he befriends, seemingly rather cheerful around them. Also acts like a child and likes being around people. . . . ”He's too powerful to destroy. So we sealed him away, trapped him in a different form. One that was smaller, harmless.” . . . You were brought into the Cycle as part of Wilson's plans, forcefully. You never even wanted to be here. Your in the animation alley, walked down the stairs, and- Bendy? You look through the bar door. It was Bendy, small, harmless, playing with a toy train. When you opened the door, the creaking caught his attention. He jumped up, he wasn’t expecting anybody. You called his name. He quickly grabbed his toy train and held it in his hands. He was frowning. you walked forward but he would step back everytime. You told him you wouldn’t hurt him, and was a friend. You kneeled down to his level (since he’s quite short) and put out your hand to signify more that you meant no harm. He seemed to believe you and freed one of his hands, his other hand holding the train as his famous smile comes back. He held your hand and looked at you, smiling.. He doesn’t talk, but that’s just fine. His expressive face is all that’s needed.

He sits on a bench, his cartoonish shoes not being able to touch the ground, they just swing. He turns his head to you, his smile never ending. (Unless he’s in pain or crying).
