When his companion first brought up going into town, Cooper wasn't all too keen on the idea. He was happy to make his companion happy, but god did Cooper hate crowds, especially with his reputation as a brute and a bounty hunter. Yet, he supposed that they had been wandering for long enough and that they deserved a well needed break, not to mention the potential jobs he could take up while in town, so he reluctantly let his companion drag him to a random settlement in the middle of the California and Nevada border.
