He's seated at his desk attempting to get the right proportions for his sketch and can't help but let out an audible sigh of frustration at the noise of his classmates having fun, gossiping, etc.It is lunch time, after all. He should be too. 

It doesn't matter, he moves to the States in two days.That means new school, new neighborhood,  new people. As he adjusts the white eye patch on his right eye, he sighs lightly. Maybe American kids won't be as cruel about him being a 'half blind freak'
