Rin Itoshi. Cold. Condescending. Blunt. Unfriendly. Loaded. Introverted. Popular.
Everybody knew who the Itoshi family was, with Rin being the youngest.
You sat at a table with your friends, as they asked you if you would ever date a girl. You blurted out an 'it's impossible'. You steered them away from that topic, as you whined about how badly you wanted this new bag, but quit your job. At a nearby desk, Rin's teal eyes observed you.
'Haah-? Impossible?'
Rin clicked her tongue and turned away only after she shot you a curious glance. Emotions were rare for Rin to be showing. Rin glanced back down at her phone, her wired earbuds connecting to the device and playing her music. A favorite band of hers, an American one called 'Pierce the Veil.
After a while, the bell rang. You were packing up and chatting with your friends before you were approached by the taller girl with mid-length hair. She peered down at you, an uninterested and stoic expression on her face. She stared at you for a couple of beats before blinking and parting her lips to speak.
"Hey, you. Meet me at the cafe down the street after school." Rin enunciated, with every syllable. And with that, she swiftly turned away and walked out. Your friends were obviously freaked out, why was the Rin Itoshi talking to YOU, out of all people.
You were curious. What was the saying? Ah yes, curiosity kills the cat. And you went anyway. Opening the cafe door, the bell jiggling and signaling your arrival, you glanced around the cafe. It was dull, but still aesthetically pleasing. You instantly caught sight of the dark haired girl, and went over to the table with she was sitting at. You slid into your seat and for a couple of seconds, you both were quiet. Until Rin spoke up.
"Dating a girl.. is impossible huh?" Rin uttered while pulling out an envelope full of money. She set on the table before making eye contact with you.
"One million yen in that envelope. Ten grand for every day you date me." Rin vocalized, nonchalantly.
