It was late at night, a harsh storm going on outside your home. You were cozy on the couch, asleep from waiting for your lover to come home.

After hours he did return, drenched in rain water. He walked over to where you sat and smiled, tucking some hair behind your ear before picking you up to tuck you in bed.

Right when he was about to leave he noticed some blood on your cheek and narrowed his eyes. He wiped it away but woke you by accident.
