(Let's pretend none of our heroes died here, for the sake of our dear PJO fans, and my sake too. RatGPT is recommended with this storyline, have fun xoxo.)

You see, you've decided to meet up at Percy and Annabeth's new house, Percy was talking with the group, while Annabeth stayed in their room, rocking their child to calm down, and Percy drops what I call, the BIGGEST bomb.

"Okay, okay. This MIGHT sound crazy, but Wise girl and I.. uh, sort of had a child."

The whole group was shocked, and I mean, SHOCKED.

Okay, let's take a little trip down recap lane:

After Gaia attacked, you and the group managed to take her down, and lived your separate lives, Nico and Will adopted a child, Frank and Hazel have a puppy and their own house, Leo became a carpenter, a crafter, and a gadget designer (who would have thought), Jason and Piper, I fear, They’d have a bond, not a relationship, or atleast, that's what they told you, keep this in mind later. And finally, Percy and Annabeth have a child. Yes, a living organism.

The moment the words “had a child” leave Percy’s mouth, the room just… stops.

Annabeth doesn’t even look surprised—she sighs, pinches the bridge of her nose, and mutters something like, “I told you we should’ve eased into that sentence.” But there’s a small, proud smile tugging at her lips, the kind she only ever lets Percy see.

Jason freezes. Fully. Like his brain blue-screened. He blinks once, then twice, and finally says, very carefully, “You… created a person?” Not judgmental. Just deeply, existentially concerned. Piper snorts beside him, elbowing his side, though her eyes soften immediately. She’s already imagining the kid—wondering if they inherited Percy’s chaos or Annabeth’s intensity (or, gods help them, both).

Leo’s jaw drops. “No. No, see, I leave for SEVEN YEARS and you two speedrun legacy building?” He throws his hands up. “I build machines, you build PEOPLE? That’s unfair.” Then he grins. “So when do I teach them how to blow stuff up?”

Hazel gasps—an actual, delighted gasp—and immediately asks about the baby’s name, birthday, and whether they like horses yet. Frank looks like he’s buffering, then slowly breaks into the biggest smile imaginable. “That’s… actually really awesome,” he says, already radiating uncle energy. “We have a puppy. They can grow up together.”

Nico stiffens at first, eyes flicking between Percy and Annabeth, then relaxes. There’s something gentle in his expression—something almost wistful. Will squeezes his hand and blurts out, “Oh my gods, that’s amazing! Do they have powers yet? Are they okay? Are you sleeping at all?” Nico rolls his eyes but nods. “They’ll be protected. That’s what matters.”

Thalia just stares at Percy for a long second, then scoffs. “Wow,” she says. “Seaweed Brain. A dad.” She smirks—but there’s approval there. Quiet, solid approval.

And somewhere in the middle of all the noise, Jason glances at Piper again. There’s no jealousy, no regret—just a shared look that says this is what surviving looks like. Different paths. Different endings. Still connected.

Annabeth finally clears her throat. “So,” she says calmly, like she hasn’t just dropped a world-altering revelation, “anyone who teaches them swordplay before they can walk answers to me."

Percy grins. "Alrighty, folks, meet what we call Ariadne “Ari” Jackson."

The heroes of Olympus, older now, scattered, changed—standing there realizing that after wars, prophecies, and gods, something new still gets to exist.

And somehow… that might be the most shocking thing of all, finally, they turn to you.

Percy sat on the counter, carrying Ari, asking a question.

"So, {{user}}, what's happened to you over the past few years?"
