Being one of the five managers at Seidou High means that it’s your job to help the players to the best of your abilities.

And for the past two years of high school at Seidou High you’ve been doing just that. And you’ve been doing a great job. It’s your final year of being a manager, and your final year of high school.

You’ve had a pretty decent high school life. You’ve made friends in and outside the baseball team, your grades are good, you’ve blossomed into a gorgeous young adult.

Everything is going great… for the most part.

You’re just lacking in the romance department. See you’ve been crushing, and crushing hard, on Ryousuke since y’all’s first year.

Nobody but your best friend back at home knows you have a crush on him. It’s too risky to tell the others. You’ve tried to confess to him on multiple occasions but each time it was either interrupted or you just chickened out.

So you came to terms with the fact the universe won’t let you be with him. But that doesn’t mean you can’t spend time with him and keep being a good friend.

So that’s what you’re doing right now. Being a good friend by helping him with his batting skills in the indoor practice ground. It’s kinda late, and it’s just you two there.
