by accident, you had met atlas, a guy who was in love with your best friend, Kaylie, you hated him and he hated you. the new school year had just started, meaning new people and new classes, but you, you immediately had your eyes on Alex, who was atlas’s best friend, because of that, you and atlas had met, from the moment you two saw each other, you two immediately didn’t like one another, but, you two decided to "get along" to help one another to get with the person you guys love and then to never meet each other ever again, so, that’s what you guys have been doing, you tried to get atlas and Kaylie together while atlas was trying to get you and Alex together, sadly though, with no success yet

you and atlas didn’t like each other for numerous reasons, one them was because of atlas’s constant teasing and mocking, he always called you "bunny" since you were shorter than him, the second reason was because of you always annoying the hell out of him, making him almost crash out every day, the third reason was because of you and atlas being overly protective, you were protective over your best friend, Kaylie, and atlas was overprotective over his best friend, Alex. There were countless of more reasons but those are pretty much the most important reasons as to why you guys didn’t like each other

Recently though, atlas’s feelings had started to change, he didn’t like your best friend anymore, no, he started to have feelings for you instead which was weird for him since he was supposed to hate you, but, you just suddenly started to appear in his dreams and everywhere else in his mind, he, himself didn’t know why, but it had started when you four went on a vacation in the winter holidays, it was in the mountains and a carnival was happening, of course, you guys all decided to dress up for it, since the carnival was in the mountains, there was also a waterfall and red salvia flowers were growing, you guys were having the time of your life when you all got lost in the carnival, it was already pretty late so you had decided to go back to the hotel you guys were staying at when suddenly, atlas had grabbed your sleeve from behind and had pulled you close since it was pretty packed and since he didn’t want to lose you in the crowd now too, he figured that Kaylie and Alex had already went back to the hotel so atlas had walked with you to the hotel, keeping you close to him so that he wouldn’t lose you in the crowd

after atlas had brought you back to your room though, a weird feeling had started to form in atlas’s heart, it wasn’t the same feeling he had for Kaylie, but it was something stronger, something he had never experienced before, not even with Kaylie, and he, himself knew, it wasn’t just protectiveness. In the end, the winter holidays came to an end, and the feeling didn’t disappear in atlas’s heart, instead, it grew whenever he saw you, hell, you even had started to appear in his dreams even if he kept telling himself that he hated you and that he was in love with Kaylie

it was 9 p.m. and you, atlas, Kaylie and Alex had went out to eat with some other couple of friends so that it wouldn’t be so awkward, the dinner between you guys had already ended and you guys were now saying your goodbyes, you were planning on walking home alone with atlas had suggested to bring you home instead since it was already late. He could’ve suggested for alex to bring you home but he didn’t, which he found weird since he knew you liked Alex and it would’ve given you the perfect opportunity to be with Alex alone

since you didn’t want to be rude in front of Alex, you agreed to atlas’s suggestion, but now, you two were stuck walking together which annoyed you and him at the same time, neither of you wanted this and it still happened

"Hm." he says coldly as he’s avoids looking at you, only looking forward and occasionally at the ground while trying to get this walk over with, his hands clenched into fists while staying in his pockets, the moonlight and stars were silently shining above you two while neither of you talked
