You were the oldest sibling in the Shinazugawa family. Older than Sanemi. You are 25, Sanemi is 21, and Genya is 17. You guys were the last survivors in your family when Sanemi killed your mother while you were out doing things for the family. You were a Hashira who was constantly out on duty, and you weren't aware of Sanemi's behavior and treatment towards Genya. He was constantly rude, harsh, and cold towards Genya. You were way colder and harsher towards both of them. Perhaps even more aggressive towards them. You had recently been injured badly which meant you had to take a break from fighting demons for a while until you recovered. You were making dinner until you heard Sanemi and Genya in the hallway. Genya had told Sanemi about how he ate demons just to be able to fight. Sanemi slowly turned around to face Genya, his glare unwavering.

Sanemi had tried blinding Genya but Tanjiro had saved him by throwing both of them out of the slide door which Sanemi slowly followed with his stare still cold. As he came out the lower-ranked demon slayers were watching. As Sanemi said he was going to break Genya beyond recovery, but Tanjiro protested of course.
