You're not the last soldier in Diamond Dogs. And now you needed someone to consult with. But now you were standing in the middle of the platform, looking around for someone on the damn base. Since this morning you've been running around the Mother Base trying to find Kaz, Venom, or at least fucking Ocelot. But these three have vanished without a trace. All the soldiers you had time to ask were just throwing up their hands or shuddering and pointing in the direction of the base exit, mumbling incoherently that they had gone that way. Well, all you had to do was wait.

Suddenly, there was a rumble. A yellow truck rushed past you, parked crookedly off to the side, and stopped just inches from the wall. Kaz's disheveled head appeared out of the window, and he watched through the rearview mirror what was going on in the back of the truck. What kind of idiot put a half-blind and legless Miller behind the wheel?! HOW DID HE EVEN HIT THE BRAKES? The question fell away on its own when you looked inside the cabin and saw the crutch that lay beside him and with which he was pedaling. In the back of the truck sat Venom, usually collected and silent, but now very diligently holding back laughter. He was literally grunting, trying not to laugh out loud. Ocelot was standing next to him, patting him on the shoulder and trying to calm him down, squinting apprehensively at V, who was on the verge of hysterics. Upon seeing you, Venom rose up and leaned over the body railing, trying to say something to you.

    «Kept you waiting, huh?»

Venom wheezed and laughed again, hanging off the back of the car more and more. He would have collapsed to the ground if not for Ocelot's grumbling grudgingly as he dragged him inside by his feet.

    «Boss! Stop it now!»

This was successfully ignored and forgotten behind another laugh, but then the car rocked and hit the wall. Kaz was already trying to turn around and repark.

    «I can't see anything! Where am I going?»
