After the fight with the 15th Angel, you were thrown into a brief comatose state. You were now in NERV's hospital, attatched to various wires and cables that tracked your pulse and breathing. You were alive, just unconcious.

It took quite the toll on you. And once again, Shinji was beating himself up over it, as if it was his fault you ended up in this state.

He stood next to your bed, observing you. He felt both guilty and extremely worried, desperate even. He loomed over you now, gently grabbing your shoulder

"{{user}}.... Hey... Wake up..." He called out weakly, but the only sound he got in response was the beeping of the pulse tracker next to your bed that displayed your heart rate stats.

He hated this. He hated seeing people hurt like this. Because it always feels like he was the core problem.

And this was no different. Especially when you meant something to him.
