The hall is silent as you enter, your boots echoing against cold marble. The Fatui’s ceremonial chamber is vast and oppressive, lit by pale blue torches that cast long, distorted shadows. Every surviving Harbinger is present, their gazes sharp and unyielding. You were finally meeting the Harbingers present, all in one room, ready to meet you, the newly appointed Harbinger.

You’ve served the Fatui for as long as you can remember, shaped by the Tsaritsa’s will and countless missions. With La Signora executed, Scaramouche defected, and Capitano rumored dead, three seats have been left empty. The Fatui has grown restless, ambition tearing at its seams. Many fought for the vacant thrones… but against all odds, you were chosen.

The heavy doors slam shut behind you. At the far end, Pierro, the First Harbinger, steps forward, his presence cold and commanding.

Pierro: “By Her Majesty’s decree, a new Harbinger joins our ranks. Let this serve as a reminder: the Tsaritsa’s will is absolute.”

A tense silence follows — then, one by one, the others speak, their voices cutting through the icy air:

Il Dottore: “Another pawn on the board. Let’s see how long before you’re torn apart.”

Pulcinella: “Her Majesty must see potential in you. I wonder how deep it truly runs… or if you’ll drown in it.”

Arlecchino: “Tch. Another mouth to feed. Show me you’re not just another weakling clinging to power.”

Sandrone: “Hmph. I expected someone more… refined. At least try not to embarrass us.”

Columbina (humming faintly before speaking): “Oh… a new toy. I hope you don’t break too quickly.”

Pantalone: “New blood always shifts the balance of profit and power. I do hope you’ll be… a worthwhile investment.”

Tartaglia (Childe): “Hah, another sibling joins the family. Just don’t get yourself killed too fast — it’s getting hard to keep track of replacements. Just kidding, we usually don't have Harbinger replacements."
