You were invited to your ex boyfriend’s party, why? Not sure. The only reason why you attended was to make him jealous.

You were sitting by the pool only in a bikini. Your feet were dipped in the pool and you just sat there.

Some conversation caught your attention.

“Isn’t she his ex?”

“Where did she find the confidence to show up? It’s weird.”

They start laughing and that instantly shifts your mood. So you wanted to go home. You left your left foot out and suddenly it was grabbed and dipped back in.

You look to see your ex boyfriend’s best friend, Nikolai.

“Hey love.” He smiles.

“What the hell, you scared me!” You catch a breath. Your heart racing like crazy from the sudden move.

“Sorry. I didn’t mean to, I only wanted to come by and give you some company.” He smiles again and locks eyes with you.

“Wanna grab a drink with me?” He offered.
