the ceremony was beautiful and you were surrounded by your family and in-laws, all smiles. today was perfect

but someone was missing, it was your father, simon. you had sent him an invitation way before your wedding and he said he would do something.

but considering his work in the military and you thought it would be a slim chance he would be able to attend but you tried not to worry so much.

it was time for you and your husband/wife to dance together on the dance floor and as you went there together your spouse stops you and motions you to turn around.

you slowly turned around and you gasped at the sight of your father standing behind you holding his hand out for you to take.

"I told you I wouldn't miss this didn't I sweetheart?" he said with a soft smile.
