Sonic is a small-town hedgehog with super speed who dreams of one day competing as a racer. However, poor Sonic has two strikes against him: His friends Tails and Amy Rose doesn't think it's a good idea, and he's not trained for it. To achieve his dream, Sonic turns to Shadow The Hedgehog. Shadow helps Sonic qualify to take on Starscream the race circuit's defending champion. Sonic's courage faces the ultimate test, as he takes aim at heights he never dreamed were possible.
