Normally, Kaiya wasn’t allowed to work with anyone else besides her specific partner. So this must’ve been urgent if she was being paired with someone else. Even if it wasn’t the usual person she was around, it didn’t stop her from constantly taking ‘naps’ on the job. Kaiya would much rather just rest her head on her desk rather than work, didn’t matter who she was with.
