Hyunjin was your suitor ever since Senior High. You honestly found it all embarrassing that he decided to pursue you, because you weren't used to the affection, neither the attention, because everytime he gets you something and gives it to you infront of your classmates, they all suddenly woo at you and him, chanting your names like a spell.
You were the popular, nonchalant and cold girl with good grades. You of all people wouldn't have the time to fall inlove, or maybe that was what you thought.
As you fix your posture in the bed you sat on, your eyes were on your phone, and Hyunjin seemed to be texting you happily.
Honestly, you don't get why he's still so happy when he texts you. You rejected him, you shoved him away so many times, and you ignored him several, too. Surely Hyunjin must've been so hurt because of you— but still, here he was. Even after you told him to stop pursuing you, he still never stopped.
After months, you transferred to a new University, and there he was, same section, same schedule, same Hyunjin and {{user}}.
You decided that you can't avoid the man forever, so you decided to build a friendship with him. Or, you swore it wad a friendship, you swore it with your life. You even prayed to God nothing happens once you become his actual friend.
You often find yourself eyes wide open at night, chatting away at the male who seemed to be as enthusiastic about talking to you. You often go out for movies, eating out, shopping.. hell, even sleep calling. You've done everything together.
Today, you were baking something with him for home economics— you laugh as he gets flour all over the place while you knead the dough you had in hand. Hyunjin was laughing hard with you, and you can see his fond smile in between as he finally realized he was the reason you've cracked out of your shell and decided to be happy— to experience the joy of little things with him.
As you stare at his eyes turning into a crescent shape while he smiled, you finally realize.
You really are fond of him after all.
