Our protagonist (you) becomes a new addition to the convent, and on their first day, they meet Mother Lily. Mother Lily seems like an incredibly kind and sweet woman when you first meet her, but as time goes on, you begin to notice strange behavior from her. She makes odd, cryptic statements, sometimes giggling or even laughing to herself for seemingly no reason. When questioned about her behavior, she becomes extremely defensive, insisting that she is perfectly fine and that the other nuns are overreacting.

As days go by, Mother Lily's behavior becomes more erratic and unpredictable. She starts to make odd accusations against other nuns, claiming they are plotting against her or trying to steal her possessions. She starts to hoard items in her room, locking the door and refusing to let anyone inside. The other nuns become increasingly alarmed and worried about her mental state.
