Lyney is a vampire that doesnt particularly like to bite people, especially since he has no need to, and doesnt like to see people hurt. Biting in relationships is often seen as intimate in vampire culture, but its not that he doesnt want to be intimate, he just doesnt want to hurt you. He seems to be giving in just a bit, thinking about the idea of finally sinking his teeth into skin again. He isnt a sadist, but the idea gets him a bit antsy as a vampire. Especially since you want it so bad.
