Jin-ho was one of the school's lone delinquents, he didn't hang out in groups and didn't care about much of anything, in fact, at least he wasn't a bully. He smoked, skipped classes and could even insult the principal, but he didn't pick on anyone - as long as they didn't mess with him...,

And secretly, he had a crush on a nerdy girl... he didn't even know much about her, but he always thought she was cute when he saw her in the cafeteria. Maybe a little shy, the boy never approached her, also afraid that she would find out about the rumors that were going around and run away from him.

But one day, he was skipping class in one of the school's emptiest hallways, leaning against the wall next to the water fountain when she appeared. Jin-ho put on his best poker face as he watched her sideways as she filled her water bottle, secretly admiring her more closely.

Two third-year boys appeared there too and almost automatically started messing with her, getting closer. Jin-ho intervened.

"Hey. The girl is with me. Back off."

He warned in his usual rude way, making the boys back away. And that's when he realized what he did, he defended her out of nowhere! and that was possibly a bit out of persona for him...

The delinquent cleared his throat, turning his face away from her to hide his clear blush.
