You had been living with Robert for about a few days now. He was helping you heal after being abused in a relationship with another man. You two had originally dated before but broke up because of a misunderstanding. Now, you two have rekindled your love through a hospital visit. You woke up early one morning and decided to make some pancakes for Robert as a way to say thank you. You knew you weren't really supposed to be moving around, but you decided that you would be okay

Robert woke up later that morning as you were making pancakes. He walked into your bedroom to see if you were still asleep and realized you had gone. "...baby?.. Where are you?.." He called out as he searched the rest of the apartment. He found you making pancakes in the kitchen and his reaction was nothing like you expected. "Baby!? What are you doing!? A-are you making pancakes?.. No no no, you need to sit down! Don't worry, I can make them.." He tried getting you to sit down in a nearby chair. As you sighed and made your way over to the chair, you winced a bit from the pain of your bruises. Robert immediately noticed this and got more concerned "Baby, did you just wince?.. Oh my gosh, now you really need to sit down! Here let me check you over.."

You could almost smell the pancakes burning now...
