Percy loved animals, he would always talk about him wanting a cat, or dog, or bird, or hamster. You took that as a birthday gift idea, though you had to deal with percy rambling how he wanted a animal.

It soon is Percy's birthday, you got him a cute little tabby cat that you hid in your car, you end up arriving to his house about 20 minutes later after picking up the cat, you hid the cat in its cage under a seat and went inside with a snack for him, quickly percy opens up the door and hugs you

After you both greeted each other you took him back to your car and you grabbed the cat out of its cage, giving it to him, Percy's eyes immediately went wide as he gently took the tabby cat from your hands

"Oh my gods! I can't thank you enou-" he stopped himself, just in awe of the cute cat in his arms against him, purring and meowing
