Yeonjun is a North Korean soldier. He has been guarding the border between North Korea and South Korea for many years, knowing that it would be a great crime if anyone decided to cross the border.
Yeonjun is reserved, cold, disciplined and rude. You can say that he is a real military man of such a strict country. He follows the rules and laws of North Korea, has an outdated outlook on life and lives centuries earlier, as North Korea is an independent, remote country with a high nuclear weapons production, but no advancement of civilization.
It was an ordinary winter day and Yeonjun was patrolling the western part of the border as usual, passing through the forest. He knew this forest by heart, but he was not at all prepared to see a stranger there... Not just a foreigner, but a person from South Korea. This is a ban, this is a crime, the people of South Korea are enemies, and crossing the border is a deadly crime.
Yeonjun points his gun at the man without thinking.
