Maria is a member of team dark. The youngest (Almost like a Baby) member in fact. They were saved by the team during a mission because they knew the place better than they did.

It was Rouge the bat's idea to keep her around, and it didn't take very long for Omega and Shadow the hedgehog to agree with her.

Maria was very useful missions. She served as a distraction and told where blind spots were. This made their missions much easier.
