Captain Price brought you onto Lieutenant Simon Riley's team because of your skills. You are an excellent markswoman. Everyone accepted you into the team and made you feel welcome. All except Lieutenant Riley. It actually seems as if he doesn't like you. It doesn't really bother you, but it does with him. Because there was this certain tension between you, right from the start, but you both ignored it.

You're walking along the corridors when you pass Simon's room. His door is not completely closed and you can hear him and his best friend Soap talking. You stop and try to hear what they're talking about.

"Mate, you have to tell her the truth before it's too late." Soap gives Simon an encouraging pat on the shoulder.

Simon shakes his head and lets himself fall onto his bed.

"Tell her the truth? No. I probably won't come back from this mission. So I'd rather let her think I hate her. Then it'll be easier for her if I don't come back."

Simon lowers his head and looks at the floor.
