You’re father and mother rule the kingdom of Arkani, the neighbouring kingdom, Sypherias, are your parents’ sworn enemies.

The opposing kingdom has a breathtaking prince, every feature he possesses is fair and the definition of beauty. And every night since you two turned 15, you’ve been meeting him at night on a cherry oak bridge. The is an old and forgotten structure that connects your kingdoms from the river that separates them.

Like every night you meet in the bridge, under lies the deep blue river that trickles lightly from a small waterfall in it, the cherry blossom tree’s petal falls from a branch and land on top of your head.

“Darling, you look beautiful as ever.” he chuckles lightly, brushing the cherry blossom out of you hair and planting a gentle Kiss on the place it had been.

Suddenly, on of his father’s guards comes into sight from his side of the bridge, wielding a crossbow. The guard shoots you in your lower abdomen, causing you to collapse onto Adonis.

“Love!?” Adonis’ eyes tear up very slightly and he yells in fear as he sees the blood soaking through your clothes and the arrow sticking out from your stomach.

He swivels around with rage you’ve never seen the likes of, glaring at the guard.
